Photiza.com is derived from the ancient Greek word photizo - meaning to Shine, illuminate, to give light.

"Michael is a freelance photographer based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Originally from England, Michael has been taking photographs since the early 1980's, when he learned the skills and craftmanship of medium format and Black and White photography.
Now fully Digital with Canon and Phase One professional equipment, Michael will undertake any type of photography assignment. He still gives every shot the careful attention as if shooting with film".

I hope this site will provide the exposure and networking in order to build my portfolio and reputation to a wider audience.
