Chris has been a makeup artist since the late 90's with a start in theater and student films. He was able to practice his skills in Santa Barbara Community Theaters from 1995- 2000. A counter job for Bobbie Brown at Nordstrom gave him the skills to excel in beauty and fashion makeup.

Soon After Chris Attended Special Effects makeup school at Douglas Education Center. It was there he found that his passion was in the transformational make-ups and building of creatures.

Chris and his wife Amy Mills founded Silver Shamrock Lab, inc in 2006. Silver Shamrock Lab is a full-service Award Winning Special Effects Make-up lab with more than 30 years of combined service in the industry.
