Nickie was affectionately given the nickname "MacGyver" due to her uncompromising, strategic ability. She effectively executes resolutions to overcome obstacles and effortlessly creates magic from behind the chair. Nickie embraced the love for the Cosmetology Industry during her early childhood. She begin practicing the art of Cosmetology while creating trendy hairstyles for family and close friends as a preteen. Nickie is a former Salon Owner, Concept Consultant, Color Artist, Master Extension Specialist, and Cosmetology Educator. She is a Licensed Agent for Florida Commission for Independent Education and serves as a State Captain in Florida for the Professional Beauty Association. She is a contributor to LaGrace Cosmetics as well as Beauty Biweekly Newsletter as an underwriter. Nickie is the former Campus Manager for one of the 88 campuses of Regency Beauty Institute (Jacksonville Florida). Nickie is a National Educator, Product Tester and Demonstrator for Silky Straight Hair System. She has been formally trained and certified by Matrix, Redken, Wella, Goldwell, Scruples, Global Keratin, Nufree, Design Essentials, Biolage, Sebastian Professional, LaGrace Cosmetics, Marabella, Youngblood and many other professional cosmetology based product lines. Her vision is to inspire artists and future artists to cultivate healthy hair and promote positive self esteems while provoking creativity and producing innovators. Her motto is "Integrity is everything". Nickie has taken the initiative to study a broad range of professional products and specialized services relating to different hair types and also prosthetic hair procedures. Strategic, critical yet logical thinking is what continues to drive her passion and gift.
