A little bit about what it's like to work with me:
--I'm big on pre shoot communication. I'll send you multiple emails with details about the shoot.
--I'm big on preparation. I'll usually have a pretty good idea of what I want to shoot. I will have gotten feedback from you. We will have discussed wardrobe, props and what you need to bring.
--I'm big on spontaneity. I'll plan the shoot but than eagerly grab unplanned opportunities and "in the moment" possibilities.
--I like models who have ideas. If you don't say anything, I'll dictate the shoot. But I encourage feedback, suggestions, and "hey, why don't we try shooting this pose?" from the model I'm working with. This should be a COLLABORATION.
--I'm easy-going and professional. I won't hit on you, if you hit on me I won't respond (though anyone who'd hit on me would have to be blind), I'm not stuffy or uptight, and I expect you to be prepared to shoot what we talked about.
--Best times for me to shoot are usually on weekdays. Worst times are usually weeknights and weekends…though with some advance planning I can be available sometimes during the night or a Saturday.
--I don't have a text plan on my phone so sending me text messages usually doesn't work: I don't check for them b/c I don't expect them. Best way to communicate with me is via email.
--I work with all kinds of models with all levels of experience. I offer lots of free advice and tips for posing.
--I'm on the road a LOT. So advanced planning is a good thing. That also means that if you aren't in Virginia, that doesn't mean we can't shoot…I may be coming to your neck of the woods.
