I am a Canberra based performing arts photographer and I’m interested in registering as available to work for your organisation.
I’m the house photographer for a fantastic music venue in Canberra called The Abbey and have covered over 40 shows at this venue. I also shoot for Canberra music publication, BMA Magazine on occasion and have previously shot for Faster Louder.
I’m a musician myself and pride myself on providing a top quality product for my client as well as the acts being photographed. I am aware of and practice correct etiquette with regards to the act and audience at any event.
I have covered a wide variety of events from small military dinners, small pub/club band and DJ performances through to music festivals and mid and large venue concerts. I have covered events such as singing recitals, bands, dance, theatre and corporate events.
My main workhorse is a Nikon D3S with a backup camera. My main lenses are a 70-200 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8 and a 50mm f1.8. I also use a 2X teleconverter and speedlight if required. I believe in planning with redundancy as far as batteries and memory cards and to be prepared for every shoot.
I am happy to shoot the Canberra and surrounding areas and can travel to Sydney or Melbourne if needed with appropriate advanced warning.
My main post processing tool is Lightroom 5 and I also use Photoshop and Bridge CC if required. I am comfortable with many plugins such as Nik Colour Efex and using them effectively for a given client.
