Scott Boswell is a filmmaker, photographer, and instructor who has completed numerous shorts films and the award-winning feature film, The Stranger in Us (2010). His films are in distribution internationally. Previously Scott ran The Factory, an Oakland-based, multi-award winning short film production collective for urban teenagers. Currently he acts as the Production Coordinator in the Cinema Department at San Francisco State University where he teaches classes in film production, directing, and screenwriting. At present, he is working on two film projects – a short called “The Day I Grew Up” (extracted from his feature script All American Boy) and a documentary about homeless youth in San Francisco. In his spare time, Scott runs a feature screenwriting group and directs plays with local theatre companies in San Francisco.
