My passion for photography began about 12 years ago taking photo’s of castles and old wind- and watermills. In the beginning I did not really take any notice that most pictures were skewed or blurry. After a while I discovered the internet forums for photography. From that point on I started to pay attention to such things and began to broaden my horizon for the ins and outs of photography. People started to tell me I had talent for composition and lighting.
After the landscape, home, garden and kitchen phase, like most beginners have, I got more interested in photographing models. This with a preference for pin ups in the style of the 50s. Meanwhile developing a personal style by including some mysticism and a story line in all my projects.
I like to deviate from the beaten path of rules and regulations that seems to be the only “proper way” to take a photo. My goal is to create images that catch the eye, keep it focused for several heartbeats and to make a small impression that lasts. Hopefully the image will trigger the person to share it with others, like the members of this site.
