In mid-2013, I decided to break loose from the bonds of the automatic camera mode as to allow me the freedom to control what I create from what I viewed of the world through the lens of my camera - the creative freedom to fully express my artistic visions and not to just leave it up to the camera to decide what it thought was best or what it thought I saw in my creative mind.

And so, equipped with my "eye" for what I felt was visually pleasing, thought-provoking, and/or "moving" and with the proper photographic equipment in hand, I began attending workshops, participating in photo shoots with other talented photographers & models, and reading and watching whatever tutorials I could get my hands on in the art and technique of a variety of different styles of photography - both artistically and foundationally.

I was and am like a sieve absorbing whatever I can to strive and journey towards achieving the level of photographic artistry, creativity, and beauty I so much hope and desire to reach. I feel deep within me that my destiny as a photographer is to create images that I hope will be uniquely awe-striking, stand-apart, and breath-taking - images that capture the essence of beauty and the type to touch one's heart, soul, and mind!

I fully expect to develop my photography to where it will be uniquely creative and widely recognized as the work of Freddie B Photography and as a result, be a much sought after photographer. I aspire not to be one of the run-of-the-mill, dime-a-dozen photographers but one who seeks to capture such images as to stir one's soul and cause one to gasp in awe upon viewing my images...this is the type of photographer I aspire to be for anything short of his will be a failure in my quest. The only thing that limits me in achieving this at this point in a time is my lack of experience and technical skills, which I am intent on evolving over time.
