To me, fashion is an art, one of the most creative forms of expression. When you look good, you feel even better, and you’ll find that it will help you put forward the best possible version of yourself. You can reinvent that image everyday; it’s all up to you.

At an early age, I began my love affair with art and fashion. I have always had a distinct eye for what I like, becoming inspired by my surroundings; people, art, music, and culture. Growing up in Seattle, where the “grunge style” evolved, and where everyone you pass is rocking a North Face and rubber rain boots, due to the never-ending rain, I was determined to resist conforming to the Washington norm.

Having always loved the sunny state of California, and of course fashion, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of working in the fashion industry. I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Merchandise Product Development in 2009. I am now living out my dream everyday as a senior fashion designer for Soho Apparel. I primarily design women’s contemporary clothing but also design everything from kids, juniors, women’s, plus size, maternity, and men’s. I am the photographer for Soho as well. I feel so lucky I get to do what I love to do everyday!
