About Me

I'm an artist who works in representational art (charcoals, oils) as well as fine art photography. I have a passion for photography as an art form and teach art photography at the Oregon Society of Artists.

Art Modeling: I run a life drawing group (Garden Home Art Studio) where I hire models to sit for long poses while a group of artists paints their portraits. I have limited openings but if that's something you're interested in please feel free to contact me. The work is paid, however please be aware that posing for drawing pays less than posing for photography.

Photography: I focus primarily on human subject matter. Currently I'm working on several projects which deal with surrealism combined with gothic/victorian styling.

Artistically I'm inspired by the works of Jean Leon Gerome, Odd Nerdrum, Anders Zorn, Gustave Corbet and many others. Authors such as William Blake, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Edgar Allan Poe have been an influence on many of my projects.
