About Me

Welcome to Katy Sims Photography,

I specialize in fashion photography for special occasions worn by male and female. I use my vision to create illusions and bring in narrative into my work. I feel the purpose of my work is to show that although clothing is a daily need, the designs and textures we decide to wear is an art form and an expression of who we are.

Everything within the frame is built up to present the garment at its best. I photograph in the studio, and on location using a wide varied of high end equipment.

Currently I'm based in South West UK although, I'm happy to travel to work on a brief. I'm always looking for models, MUA or hair stylist to work with! I'm happy to work with anyone that's interested, Although I'm selective with TFP based photo shoots due to how busy I am. I'm focusing 2015 on submissions for magazine and competitions as well as clients.
