Malik Davis is an up and coming entertainment mogul who is skilled in many areas other than the music world, such as acting, modeling and martial arts. Malik has been indulging in martial arts since he earned the title of Golden Gloves Boxer of New York in 1998. He also tested his looks and acting skills as a Nike spokes model and as the K-Swiss Kid. He has popped up in T.V shows such as; The Shield, Pacific Blue, and The Jersey, as well as in films which include; Junkyard Dog, Stereotypes, Closure, and Book Of 1000 Deaths. Yet through it all, his passion has always thrown him back into music. He pushed into his own music career in 2004 when he released his debut solo album. Malik's album was well received with an overpowering response, which enabled him to sing with ex-Pussy Cat Doll Kaya Jones. Malik has recently finished his latest album: "Memory Glitch" He is currently placing songs in various films such as; Pretty Ugly People, Surf School, and Ping Pong Player. His latest video consists of other artists such as; Katy Perry, Lance Bass, Melissa McCarthy, Missi Pyle, and academy award winner Octavia Spencer. He has played at some of the trendiest spots in Hollywood and Miami, such as The House of Blues, The Roxy, The Key Club, Area 51, BB Kings Blues Bar, The Hard Rock Cafe, and the Viper Room, as well as performed at the 2005 MTV Music Awards pre-party at the Roney Palace. He is still driving his own way into the moving forces of main stream hip hop / pop music. Malik Davis recently was rank #3 from the top 8 2013 power 106 who's next battle for the best Competition, Beating out thousands of LA artists, With his rugged raw high intense energy sound, separates him from artists today.
