I started out in the photography world mostly interested in micro scenes...fascinated by the strange and beautiful worlds of lichen, sea grass, rust, and chipped paint, etc. it wasn't until I started my own clothing line that I became so interested in portraiture. Whereas the landscapes and still life photos take a close attention to detail with lighting and composition, portraits add an element of presence and adaptation that always leaves me smiling.
