Currently I'm a system tester doing some photography on the side. Since I'm absolutely uncreative, photography has proven to be a continuous source of learning and self-development for me.

The most common reaction I get to the first few photos in my portfolio is "Those are creepy!", so I've avoided posting any dead vampires in pools of blood and such here, even though I thoroughly enjoy shooting surrealistically and violent scenes. Also, I enjoy rubber ducks and burning them or tapping them like a bottle of wine. Again, wrong website.

As a photographer I started at using film (I figured it would be cheaper at the time) and taught myself the basics. Eventually I evolved into a sort of half-strobist/half-studio mashup and made the switch to digital because of convenience. The love for film photography is still there though, so when I care less about sharpness and more about colours and atmosphere I will still use film.

Through this site I'm hoping to come in contact with people who also like a style of crazy images and mostly spend some more time doing photography.

Unlike my username states, I'm no longer a resident of Hangzhou, China, instead I live in the Eindhoven area in the Netherlands. Hangzhou feels more like home though, so it earned a place in my web alias. I'm always willing to travel, though the distance will somewhat depend on the pay.
