About Me

I was born in 1976, in Unna, a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia - Germany. I lived in Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, USA and now in Portugal. Got my first film camera from my Grandfather but only in 2002, when I bought my first digital camera, I seriously started my apprenticeship in the craft of photography. Photography made me start walking the path of light and shadows, aware that the journey has, is and will transform the way I see the world, "meine Weltanschauung". To me photography is having the power to freeze time, to capture beauty in its various forms and to pass on knowledge of what once was.
