I have had a strong upbringing in diversity awareness since a young age. In the early 90's my father founded a nonprofit organization. His personal philosophy centered upon a vision that all people, regardless of their ethnic group, character, disability, religious affiliation, economic status, educational background, gender, or sexual preference, be provided a caring environment dedicated to improving conditions of society.It is the nature of the organization to involve itself in the affairs of the community and to invite others to join in the effort to maintain communication and harmony within the community. Regular scheduled activities during summer months has aided in keeping students occupied with positive thoughts and deterred from negative actions.
I am of both British and Jamaican decent, so I am familiar with diverse backgrounds. Traveling to Europe as well as to Jamaica, I have experienced a wide variety of cultural differences that have prepared me for a better understanding of international clients.
