Hey all, I would love to work with people interested in anything from your standard portrait session to the more daring or creative shoots.

I have recently been published in runway magazine (pages 89-97) with Victoria Henley from next top model. That was fun.

Communication

When I arrange a session, I like to plan my concepts with you, so I do ask that you be available for consultation, either by email, or messenger. A lot of my ideas are designed around what you have available to wear, your personality, and knowing your boundaries in a shoot.

Although I am a rather quite individual myself, I do still value communication and trust. I take people at their word, so if you say you will be there or respond to my inquiries at a certain time, I do appreciate you honoring that commitment. If you do not frequent this site often to check your mail, please provide alternative contact methods so i can get in touch with you easier.

Commitments

I am not here to waste anyone's time.. I strive to be on time or early for every shoot, I expect the same from anyone I work with. If you say you are going to be there, please be there. If something comes up, just let me know as soon as you can. Hopefully before I make the drive to whatever our location is. I understand things come up, so just let me know and we will reschedule. If not, I may not be willing to try and reschedule with you.

I would like to make my sessions a learning experience for both of us. We can try interesting concepts or allow me to try new photography techniques. I've shot with around 100 clients, and probably closer to 1000 some people while out and about downtown or the beach. So, I'm a bit past the portfolio building stage. But I do still like to shoot for fun and as a way to get to know new people so let me know if you are up to shoot.

Compensation

Because I am attempting to make photography a business, I can't do every shoot for free. So this is how I'm viewing my services. If you come to me requesting a particular shoot or items for your portfolio, and want me to spend time editing and making you look good, I will expect payment for my services. This will likely be much lower than my normal rate, but also depends on the shoot and location.

I realize that models also want to be paid, but unless I am doing a project for a corporate project or expect to otherwise make money myself off a shoot, I simply cannot afford to pay you.

Most of what I do would be considered "test shoots" which are often personal, portfolio building projects. If I end up being paid for an image, I will more than likely share the wealth for your cooperation in the shoot assuming you provide an adequate way of getting in touch with you. (I wont chase you down if you choose not to respond in a timely manner)

Model Release

All Models will be expected to sign a model release which allows me to put your image on my website or other promotional material for my business. A separate commercial release may be required for any use of your image commercially outside of my business.

Escorts

Escorts are fine for me if you desire one, but please do not bring parents, or boyfriends that may interfere with my progress, or create unnecessary distractions. (fighting, jealousy, constant questioning or critiques). An additional model, make up artist, or assistant would be ideal.

MUA

Make up and hair services can be provided if requested for a fee or you can help me find a volunteer.

Privacy

I honor privacy and wont post anything I feel could be considered inappropriate or embarrassing for you. If I do post something that you find inappropriate that I didn't, I tend to respond well to polite request to take it down. Just please let me know what the problem with the image is and I will usually understand and work with you. Anything less than a polite request and, I may just exercise my rights to display my work.

I will ask to what extend you may be willing to take images as everyone has different comfort levels with how much skin they show. This does not mean that we will shoot to that level, or that it is all I expect. But I am exploring many different styles still, and just want to know ahead of time your limits in case I want to try something a bit different with you.
