Outgoing, funny, humble, and that Caribbean accent when she normally speaks can describe Krystel Roche. Residing in Los Angeles, Krystel worked with amazing directors James L. Bills in “Hitchhiker Massacre” & Troy Byer in “I Really Hate My Ex” just to name a few. In College she was trained by Brian Rhinehart, named “Best Director” of the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival for the play Einstein’s Dreams. Krystel was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where she grew up and also where her entire family is from. Her early adulthood saw her split her passions between acting, music, mathematics and economics. She always had that love for art especially theater. Ever since kindergarten, she was exposed to a crowd and performed in school dance and theater. In elementary and High school, she did a few theater performance and fell in love with Shakespeare and Moliere. She was exposed to the French literature and theater at an early age. Straight from High School, she left her entire family behind and went to New York to focus on her education and her acting career. She has her Bachelor of Arts in economics with a minor in mathematics from Baruch College. During her last year at Baruch College, she took a theater class and automatically, her passion for acting, theatre and film took off and she started landing roles in plays, short films, independent films, and feature films. She speaks French and Creole fluently. She always have that saying: “If I can dream it, if I believe it, I can make it”.
