I am Jose Castillo. After a long break for school and another career I have returned to photography. I worked as a photojournalist as a teenager and freelance AP photographer in college. Like most other people, I'm on MM to network with models and expand my portfolio. I'm interested in working with both female and male models of all ages. My pursuit is the many variations of artistic photography.  I will try different approaches and explore exciting concepts. I can never be accused of being a purist. I admire and aspire to themes of quietude, understatement, and emotional depth.
I'm happy to work within any model's limits and safety concerns. I'm easy to work with and patience is one of my virtues.  I promise a relaxed and professional atmosphere and ultimately images that you will be proud to include in your portfolio.
Except for parents of underage models, only one civilized escort is allowed. I now accept only female escorts. An exception is made for teenage models who want to bring Dad, instead of, or in addition to Mom. Moms are my favorite escorts.
If we decide on a time for prints arrangement I will give you a CD of all the shots. I'll post-process up to ten shots on request and get them back to you promptly. You tell me which photos you want done. If you prefer, I'll choose the best shots, edit them, and get them to you online.
Traditionally I don't give away images if I'm paying the model, as I don't see paying someone to provide her a service. It's fine if the model uses the posted shots from my own page for her online port however. Full resolution pics are available to models for TFCD or payment to the photographer.
For commissioned work my rates are competitive and are negotiable. Beginning at $175 for boudoir photo sessions, $250 beauty/fashion sessions; $500 on up (depending on the details required for the shoot) for artistic creative's, with a $50 or $150 refundable booking deposit. On the day of a shoot, I have no time restrictions on the day, I'm yours for 3 hour up to 8 hours, you decide how long you need!  I am willing to shoot indoors or outdoors, locations shoots are subject to distance and variables of the location.  Do not hesitate to contact me for further information regarding my shoots!
