I've been shooting for about a year now, and have found photography to be a very fun and challenging artistic outlet. Over the year I've found so much satisfaction in capturing the beauty in the world around me, mostly through capturing people in portraits, but also through nature and landscapes. As I've delved deeper into my passion, I've found a desire to move toward a career in photography, starting with photographing high school seniors, and hopefully someday, wedding and event photography as well. For now, my goal is to build my portfolio with portraits of young models that could pass as a high school seniors, so that I might launch a business starting in the summer of 2014. My style is a soft, pastel look, often illuminated with back light. If at all possible, I prefer to shoot at sunset to maximize the warm tones that the sun offers during that time.
