Hello, my name is Esau. I'm a long time filmmaker and photographer, a recent graduate of Uc Berkeley in Film, and also a dancer (bboying/breakdancing) of about 8 years. I've also had training in acting, performed in several short films, and was part of an active comedy improv troupe for a year.

My time working with cameras has mainly been in writing/directing/shooting for video, but I've always dabbled with photography on the side. I've photographed as I've traveled, as i've been around inspiring friends in their artistic endeavors, and I've done test shots as pre-production for shoots. I've recently had the urge to bring my passion for photos into the foreground, where as video takes things like heavy pre-production, big crews, and constant editing, photography gives the ability to slow things down, taking more care and specificity in collaborating with others.

I believe everyone has something beautiful about them that is worthy of a photo. My style often features, but it not limited to: humor, dance, fashion, experimentation, an attention to unique light, and light-heartedness.

I'm here to collaborate with others in exploring ideas that intrigue me, and to venture into some artistic new territory. I work professionally doing video for a small production firm, so for now my photography is aimed as a sort of creative gym for collaborating and refining my skills for my own future personal projects, and as a means of networking.
