I am a most comfortable behind the camera, be it still or motion. I have been seeing the world through the viewfinder for over 30 years and am still finding new ways to see. To see beyond seeing. My work spans multiple genres, landscape, event, real estate, portraits, and art. I work with film and digital cameras.
I've been fortunate to have my photography displayed in both print and electronic media, and I also have four images on display in the Swenson Academic Building on the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus.
I am a main contributor to Monochromia, a blog for black and white photography.

I have performed occasional work for the UWS Advancement office as event photographer and have done portraits for the foundation board.
My photos have appeared in a locally produced short film and I've done photo work for a local non-profit.
My images have been exhibited locally and are for sale at the Art Dock in Canal Park.
Have edited and created homecoming videos for the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN.

As much as I am proud of the work I've done for others, I'm most proud of my own creative photography. I feel as though each time I come back from a photo shoot, I have learned something new that will make the next project even better. As I have gotten older, I have learned that age is not a barrier to creativity. In fact, with the right attitude, it can be a doorway to greater vision and new horizons.
I will always be striving to "see beyond seeing."
