About Me

When I was 12 years old, which was a long time ago, my Uncle Vito built me a darkroom in my Mom and Dad's garage. It helped in two ways; it fulfilled my love of photography and second it kept me off the streets. This made my Mama very happy.

In junior high I was head of the projection crew, which happily got me out of a lot of classes. Then came High School and Photography Classes where I became photo shop helper, gained a lot of friends and became very popular by helping classmates complete their projects. Then I went to work for Paul E. Wolf in Burbank, California, which was a Photo Studio where I shot family portraits and went around to hospitals to photograph new born babies. Of course at that time, photography was black and white and being done on film with fancy named cameras such as Graflex, Leica, and Hasselblad. This was fun and fulfilling.

Today I am using digital equipment and shooting portraits in color which are now called headshots. Again I am doing something fun and fulfilling.

Someday when one of my clients receives the Academy Award, they just might say, "I want to thank that talented Italian Photographer, Glenn Bartello, without whom I wouldn't be standing here today."

Many of my clients think I'm one of the very best, and frankly I agree with them.
