HI, I'm Alexander Riding. I have been working in arts and performing arts for 16 years. Icons, altarpieces, martyrs, intimate and raw fine arts, writing, performances, photography, sculpture and installations. I've performed, helped organize events and festivals and taught butoh and performance workshops in Washington, Oregon, Louisiana, New York, Los Angeles, Alabama, New Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Russia. I've trained and sometimes performed with Flavia Ghisalberti, Masaki Iwana, Moeno, Atsushi Takenouchi, Katsura Kan, Diego Pinon, among others. My current projects include: Danse Perdue, Grinder Family Archives, Teatro de la Psychomachia, Borderlands Butoh, The Book of Total Darkness and Revelations of Two Stupid Continentals.

Also: I reserve the right to be an equal owner of my image and have never had a photograph taken that a photographer could claim to be the the driving creative force behind. If I waive that right, it is because the work was bad and I and want to forget about it.
