I am an amateur photographer, photo designer, picture doer, press photographer, photojournalist, press photographer or photo graphic artist.

Since the 1st of January, 2004 the occupation according to appendix B of the craft order hears paragraph 2) in Germany to the occupations free of licensing (§18 what means that the occupational photograph may be also exercised without proof of a master education. By the amendment of the craft order autodidacts may also exercise the commercial occupational photograph. Without journeyman's end, nevertheless, they may call themselves though photographer, however, may not train (HwO). From this the journalistic or artistic active picture doers remain untouched.
