My name is Scott Franks and I am currently a sophomore at the Art Institute majoring in graphic design. About a year ago I picked up my father’s Nikon camera and everything changed. I can’t stop shooting and editing. I have met a lot of good people and they are teaching me a lot about the craft. I plan on becoming a surrealist photographer. I want to use the graphic design skills I am learning and apply them to my photography. I kind of look at the world in an odd way, so my style is a tad bit obscure. For example, my next shoot will be of a woman wearing a pink ballerina costume while standing in line at the unemployment office. However, I still have a lot to learn but I am having fun doing so.
