I'm a fine art photographer - that is my way of writing "I am an artist"....I create the work in my heart and not out of need, but rather want, so I'm able to approach my art differently.

I'm a professional.....if that is even a word to use with artist, but it is so in the sense my work has been published in commercial publications in the midwest, New Zealand, & London and have worked with some well know photographers in NYC.  In addition, I have held the position of Director of Photography for a Cincinnati magazine for 2 years.  I've had several one-man shows at private galleries and in University galleries. My photos have been juried into regional exhibitions. I have worked with a wide variety of professional and aspiring models. And, I'm always looking for new models.   

Here's how I work:

TFP = If the model has no experience, this would be the default arrangement, but not required.    We usually will spend a day with you (the model) shooting headshots, portfolio and comp card work for you (tfcd/tfp). You (the model) then owes me a day to be a subject in my art work. 

PAID = My work is fine art not commercial based.  My work is typically sold to individuals, Corporations, or private collections or used for juried competitions.  But if a project does involve publications (magazines, etc) compensation will be aligned to market prices.

Nudity =  A portion of my body of work involves fine art nude.  This fits well for certain models and not for others….  (NOTE:  Escorts should be present for ALL nude shoots - exceptions may vary.....). 

My photograph, "Abandon" won an award in the Indiana University Whitewater Gallery competition.   

**FYI:  Currently I'm looking to ramp up shooting several bodies of work this spring and summer in the mountains of WNC near my hometown of Asheville - looking forward to create that art and working with folks here on MM***
