Background

I have studied Portrait Art and Photography for years.
The concepts of Composition, Lighting, Form, and Color apply to both mediums.

Early in my career, I was an Imaging Consultant for Eastman Kodak and other software companies. In my retirement, I have worked with Portrait Artists, Fine Art Photographers, and most recently, Fashion Photographers.

Artist’s Statement

I consider myself to be both “Photographer “ and an ”Artist”.

As a “Photographer”, I will record an event or person/place known to the viewer at a particular time – in essence, creating a fond remembrance.

As an “Artist”, I want to make a visual connection to the viewer – something that will tickle the viewer’s mind.

I have been recognized as an award winning artist in Salmagundi in New York City.
Salmagundi is one of oldest and most prestigious art galleries in America.
