...I've been a member for quite awhile, but only set up my profile in January of this year. In that short time, I have found extremely talented, and just truly nice people, from both sides of the camera. If you're reading this, and you have always wanted to explore that creative side of yourself, I wouldn't hesitate.

...My first modeling/acting job was for a commercial, still currently airing in northern Indiana and southwest lower Michigan. I haven't seen many first experiences shared by anyone, so I thought I'd share mine with any newcomers, like me, who might be interested. First, it was for no pay! I just said I'd do it... Right or wrong, that's what happened! Second, it's about a 60 second spot, and when the production crew came, they shot all kinds of footage of me. I'm thinking, WOW! I'm going to be in the whole spot! I'm bound to be discovered! Next stop the Sundance Film Fest...The Golden Globes... Academy awards... Okay, the reality ended up being about 3 seconds of air time, in a non speaking role... No agents wanting to represent... no bookings... no recognition on the street... BUT, I personally get a little thrill knowing I'm out there on the airwaves... and yep, I'd do it all over again, and no doubt again for no money!
