Sup to all. My name is Jahmaalah Brown. I am a twenty-six year old photographer from Brooklyn, New York. I'm working towards working in the fashion photography industry and my reason for using this site is to network with anyone who needs images so that I may stack up on material in the process. I'm open to any kind of image as long as it's a portrait, as portraiture is my main concentration. I remain creatively open to many suggestions while shooting, it is a group effort after all. I'm very flexible, maintain a light atmosphere, and do everything in my power to make my subject look as visually pleasant as possible. I was an intern at Fast Ashley's Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for six months. Immediately afterwards I began doing photo assistance work on shoots. I've assisted such names as: Robert Christensen, Laurie Bartley, Matt Holyoak, Hugh Lippe, David Schulze, and David Yellen. I still do freelance photo assistance now but I am looking to begin a workflow of my own. I am highly motivated to create a good image so please come with the attitude to do the same.
