Thalita Paiva is a Makeup Artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Thalita’s passion for beauty started when she was a kid.
When she finished high school she started to get makeup classes at Embelezze, one of the largest Beauty Schools in South America.
Her teacher at the moment noticed her skills and invited her to go assist him couple of times for Fashion runways. With that she was always learning more and more with the “backstage secrets”.
When Thalita turned 16 she was invited to be part of the biggest teen magazine in Brazil, “Capricho”. Her job was basically testing tones of products that they were sending to her, the best brands, top quality and write a review every 15 days.
That was the time when she realized she wanted to be part of the Beauty Industry forever.
Because of the big events she was attending for Capricho she met so many people who helped her out so much and things got real when she was getting invited to watch Sao Paulo Fashion Week side by side with the best professionals in this field. She was heavily involved with the fashion industry by that time and also worked as a Personal Makeup Artist for anchors at VEVO Brazil.
In Chicago she has Jill Glaser as a mentor because she got certified by the amazing school “Makeup First School” and has conclude all the course.
Thalita has worked as Lead Makeup Artist for NBC Channel 5’s “Morning News”, “NBC Investigates” and “Sports”, Telemundo shows and the afternoon News, for shows such as “Chicago Fire”, “Plan B” and “The Life of Emily Alistar”.
She also works for a Salon in West Loop doing makeup for weddings, gala, professional Headshots and commercials.
Thalita is experienced in various styles of makeup, such as bridal, beauty, photoshoots, television, special effects, runways. She has led workshops and is available for private makeup lessons.
