Friends (7)About Me
I've been taking photos professionally for well over a decade. I've been in Austin since 1999, but travel as needed for work.
Over the years, I've done everything from news, political figures, sports and live music. My sports and entertainment photos have been published in newspapers and online emags around the globe. The last couple of years in Austin, I've worked by day shooting news, sports, and entertainment but have a growing clientele for portraits, head shots, and promotional shoots for athletes, musicians, and entertainers. I also do portraits, head shots, and creative couples shoots. Due to recent demand, I've started increasing the amount of work I do with individual models (mostly female) ranging from clean, creative portraits to unique looks on location and in-studio, including nude and semi-nudes depending on the shoot and concept. I'm looking for casual, fun shoots where we can collaborate to create amazing imagery. I'm on Model Mayhem looking to expand my clientele, build my portfolio, hook up with hair/makeup stylists for shoots, as well as find as well as models who can help improve my portfolio (so I will do TFP in some cases). If you've got a question or idea, just contact me. ■ ■ S T Y L E I like experimenting with different styles. I want to be creative, and some planning is always good - though being flexible and spontaneous often produces the best images. If you have ideas or examples, let's discuss them early so we can plan the right location and equipment to get what you're looking for. ■ ■ T R A D E S I will do trades in certain circumstances. Mainly, if we hit it off creatively and we can have fun making great images that will help build my portfolio as well as yours. Great ideas, out of the box thinking, experimental or edgy shoot concepts get priority for TFP. I find that I really like doing edgy, provocative and sensual work, so if you're into that, even better. If not, no worries - just hit me up with what you're thinking and we'll discuss it. ■ ■ HAIR & MAKEUP In most cases, it's a necessity. Fashion, glamour, portraits, boudoir, and anything with closeups will require professional makeup. If you're not sure, just ask and we can talk about it based on your expectations for the shoot. If you have your own H/MU, make sure they're professionally experienced in print photography (not estheticians, retail counter, etc.). I have friends who can help, but unless they have free time and are enticed by the shoot they co$t. ■ ■ STUDIO vs LOCATION My studio isn't in my home, nor is it in my garage. I use a couple of co-op studios around town depending on requirements for space, lighting, etc. It's all above-board and professional… no dark creepy basement vibe. You'll be comfortable, and feel free to bring a friend if it helps (though a boyfriend/hubby/ex/family is typically not a good choice… a BFF is). I like shooting on location, too. ■ ■ R A T E S While my rates are reasonable depending on the shoot, I'm also a firm believer that you get what you pay for (TFP aside, where it should be fun and beneficial for all involved).
