About Me
I was born in Germany, moved to Korea for a few years during my early childhood. If you haven’t guessed it already, I was a military brat. I’ve lived many places including Washington State and North Carolina. I’ve stayed in Texas for eight years now where I attended Texas Woman’s University.
I enjoy traveling, having been to places like the U.S. & British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Mexico. I really want to visit Europe and Thailand, perhaps the Middle East. I have a daughter, whom my business is named after, Lily Rose. She brings me so much love, laughter and happiness in my life. I can say that without her I would not love life as much as I do, I know all of my clients feel the same way about their own children. Yoga is another thing that brings me happiness. I like to challenge myself in yoga just like I like to challenge myself in photography. I am what many of my friends call a modern day hippy. I like to garden and eat organic. One thing really random about me is I’m vegetarian! Things I dislike are tornadoes; they send me in a tizzy in a heartbeat. It kind of freaks me out to watch people eat crustaceans. Another thing I dislike is traffic, and boy! Dallas is known for that. All these things really give me an advantage on my originality. It took me a long time to figure out one very important thing to my work. It’s an art. My work is art from the very start to finish. My clients and I talk about what they will wear, what poses will suit them best, what locations then editing the images. I do not edit two images the same. My artwork is an extension of myself; I really strive to make each session have a different feel depending on my own mood and the client’s mood. To ensure I produce my best work possible, I am involved in a few photography clubs and network with a couple well-known photographers in the United States. Just like life, photography is about evolving and learning new techniques and challenging oneself. -Katie Lily Rose Photography Verified Credits (0)Worked with Katie Pablo?
