I am an artist. I believe all moments in life can be veiwed as beauty , like a painting on a wall. Photography is taking life and framing it in the museam of our astetic veiw of beauty. When i take a photograph either myself or as the subject i try to accentuate what i veiw as beauty in the setting or props or whatever my medium calls for. I am fascinated in the mysterious and magical sence of art and history. At a young age i was very interested in books and ancient arts and elegance of times as in the baroque periods. I wore petticoats and corsets and made lace bows and gloves by hand in my teenage years. Also being a musician who loved post-punk and grunge as well as classic country and blue grass growing up but nothing thrilled me more then when i was introduced to indie rock n roll. It was like a missing part of my world that i serched my whole life for but could never find .when i first found indie rock i was 17 and had been a life long lover of music in genral, teaching myself to play piano at 5 and guitar by 13, the first song i taught myself on guitar was johhny cash's version of hurt by nine inch nails,which had been my favorite band since i herd the perfect drug when i was 5. My souls ambition was to be a true artist but music was my most favored medium and still is. As i got older i created my band the olde world which reflects my passion for mixing elements of post punk indie rock with classic country and abstract instramentals,but its hard to explin its genre, i always explain it in the phrase "its an olde world ,its hard to remember". I also enjoy making abstract and contemporary art as well as dance. I was a ballet and hiphop dancer but my style is a bit different then normally. I also danced in mesa Pegasus , a ritual trance dance theatre group using magic and performance art as well as fire dancing. Im more known for my songs and poetry, i have 26 full notebooks that ive kept since i was 12. I also love olde and independent films as well as silent film, i used to enjoy acting as well. i want the photographs i take to incorporate my ability to see the world as art and see the light in the dark. I dream of sharing my veiw of beauty to connect people thru the simple and complex beauty of photographs. I hope to bring versital styles to each shoot i work and having a great time with the gifted people i work with and let that show in the work. My ideal shoot would have to do with 20's mysticism , native American magick and 1800's elegance and soft romantic worlds of white lace and boho qualities as well as the world of indie rock and the days of the grand old opry. Whatever shoot i have the pleasure of being apart of will be a welcomed and treasured addition to my portfolio as well as a hopefully great experience with the people i work with.thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile and i hope we get the chance to wok together.
