I'm an educator, therapist and legal advocate. However, I also do my activism and social commentary via my photography, puppetry and body art through magazine editorials, art installations, gallery exhibitions, print publications and video projects.

I do my art for creative and activist reasons: a percentage of the proceeds are donated to charities that support young people of color trying to further their education.

I'm not a prolific photographer anymore, but when I do shoot, it is so that it can be published or exhibited somewhere. I take time to set up shots, so I work more like a sculptor and puppeteer than a fashion photographer. I like to meet and talk with models first before I shoot, so I get a sense of who you are. I want you and your personality to come through in the images.

I'm hoping to work with more aspiring artists and models--especially in body art or story concepts. Body painting and shoots for CHULO Underwear will usually get a booking. Contact me further if you have questions or if you are interested in our working together.
