RMUA is Baltimore based and was created as a reflection of a love and passion that combines makeup artistry, classic beauty with a modern edge. The inspiration for RMUA pulls from classic icons in beauty and fashion. I began creating with makeup at a very young age. I was a classically trained dancer for 23 years and my makeup training began at about age 8 in theatrical and stage makeup application and technique. I decided to dive into what I discovered as a passion professionally in 2010. I began as a Business Manager/ Artist for Christian Dior Cosmetics. I then left my management career to begin a freelance career for several cosmetic lines that include Christian Dior, Smashbox and MAC Cosmetics. As I began to study and refine the technical skill in my craft personally, I began building personal client relationships, which rapidly began to grow through client reviews, referrals and increased business networking. I feel very blessed to be able to share what I do and love. Now, with Rouge Makeup Artistry, I am able to provide mobile freelance services nationally and internationally that include: beauty, bridal, editorial, tutorial, costume, and skincare.

My belief: “the most beautiful thing you can be is yourself”. Beauty has no color, gender, age nor size, and it cannot be defined by one's own interpretation! We are all beautiful...and ROUGE plays up and enhances that beauty that exists in us all!
