Hi everyone,

My name is Melissa Maria(Elle) and I am a freelance make-up artist operating mainly in the Greater Toronto area. I love the beauty industry and all that is has to offer. I believe that make-up artistry is no different then traditional painting or drawing, it just happens to be on a live canvas(which I prefer!). I believe there is beauty in both enhancing what is and creating what is not.

I have been creating my own unique, living works of art for about ten years. I specialize in print(editorial), avant garde, wedding and special fx. I have been passionately creating these looks for many clients and professionally co-existing within companies such as Dior, Yves St. Laurent, Shoppers Drug Mart and most recently, Glow Magazine. I consider myself privileged to have melted minds with so many brilliant and beautiful photographers, models, designers, and stylists. Making people look good is my job; making them feel good is my joy.
