My name is Ashley, I live in california, and have lived here my whole life. Growing up my mom was a model. I would sit and watch her for hours getting her hair and makeup all done up. I thought it was the greatest thing. I never wanted to be in front of the camera like she did but I always thought it was so amazing to watch these makeup artist and hair stylist make women feel beautiful and confident. I knew as a little girl I was going to do that as soon as I was old enough. I have always had a passion for it and its been something that I have always been good at. So when I filially had the chance to get into it I wasn't going to waist anytime. Straight out of high school I went to Paul Mitchell hair school, I got my cosmetology license. I love styling hair, coming up with new ideas and ways to make it look beautiful. Then as soon as I graduated from there I new I wanted to keep my education going as much as I could, so I went to makeup school. I attended Empire Academy of Makeup and fell in love with the craft. I thought I enjoyed doing hair but makeup changed it for me. Im obsessed with new makeup, learning new skills, and being able to make someone feel like there beautiful not only on the outside but inside as well. I really enjoy what I do, I always remembered growing up and my dad telling me you'll never work a day in your life if you fine something that you enjoy, and I honestly believe I have. This is my dream job and its amazing. My goals for my future are to be the best makeup artist I can be, no matter how far I get in this industry to always stay grounded and always being open to learning more. I love doing weddings, editorials, commercials, movies. I never want to limit myself, or knock something before I try it. I believe you have to experience it all to know what you really want to do with you career.
