With some formal training under Mr. Bailey in London, I have over 20 years experience in photography, starting with a Canon A1 film camera, and in-home development to slides. Now using high-end Canon digital. I see photography as a collaboration between artist and photographer. The artist, in my opinion, should see what the camera sees at all times. This does 2 things....1-shows exactly what parts of the body are being photographed, and 2-as a bi-product the artist relaxes, has fun, and does better poses. The artist and I, the photographer, own the rights equally, either one can delete unwanted images before final disk is made. I, myself, keep 10 images normally from each shoot after touch-up, that I send to artist for approval. I only use images for portfolio enhancement. On the rare occasion I am shooting for a contest or work demo, this will be discussed prior, and only upon agreement with artist.
