Photography can be very powerful, and I am always eager to use it as a tool of exploration and education not to stir trouble but to prevent and solve it. Life is like a river, and when river overflows or becomes chaotic it can be a significant challenge to hold on to whatever it is we might value if we are taking a journey through it. We must be present and pay attention to each and every moment of our lives to make sure that our values keep us grounded in the reality of now and not being lost in the pursuit of ephemeral promises of the future. Yes, we create our future, but not by being lost in the thoughts about it while time passes by. No photo is just a photo, it's tale of something that carries much value... maybe not for you, but for someone else out there it is.
