I was first interested in photography in 1987 and got my first 110 camera. I was a shy kid and I found that I could share my unique perspective of the world through a lens. My dad gave me my first SLR camera in 1996 and I have seriously pursued photography since then. I started out as a photojournalist, and then did some photography in the army. That's where I made my transition from film to digital. After the army I graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Right now I make a living with a camera and am working on a number of pursuits, including a web series. I am also trying to put together funding for a feature film I wrote, and a couple of documentaries. But I always stay close to my roots in photography and do projects either for hobby or commercial application.
