I'm hoping this doesn't come across like a bad MySpace bio. I'm just starting out as a photographer and hope to gain insight from the pros here. I'm getting started on this fairly late in life, being in my 40's, but I'm in need of a career change. I've done a great deal of work with nature shots and still life photos. Hopefully, I'll develop well with real models, get accustomed to lighting techniques and so on, but I've only done some minor shoots with some friends of my brother's girlfriend (if you can follow that one). I'm not ready for prime time, but I really want to learn from the folks here.

I'm not confident enough to take on pro business as yet, but I'll be around and when I am, you guys will be the first to know.
