My name is Emily Marie, but Scylla Strange is my ‘alter ego’ of the entertainment and fashion industry, if you will. I am actually a model turned stylist/designer turned photographer. I am still working in all of the mentioned areas, but have taken on the role of lead photographer for a local fashion re-brand I am partnered with and design for. Although I do not have a lot of model photography experience yet, I do know what it takes to progress in this industry and have a great eye for the little details in photos as I've been on the other side of the lens for years now myself. I also happen to have a knack for editing and decided it's time to break free of the rules that say "models can't be photographers too!" I believe differently.

I have been exploring the range of possibilities in photography since I was about 12 years old. I have a love for tattoos, grunge, pinup and bohemian styles and enjoy photographing fashion, architecture, landscapes, macrophotography… you name it! I am open to almost any new idea that will capture the artistic eye. Have an idea? Think it’s a little crazy? I bet it’s PERFECT! PM me! I LOVE models who are willing to get crazy and try some real outlandish poses or environments when working together. Plus, even if you haven’t had much experience, I’m here to help and very easy to work with. I’ve been where you are and am still doing it! I know how difficult it can be to perfect the tiny details when it comes to being successful as a model and I understand that the vibes of a shoot can really effect the model. So, if you like shooting with a photographer who is focused, but laid back, talkative and open to ideas, then we should talk!

Now I know I mentioned that I am not only photographer and am working on several other projects. Aside from photography, I am a model, designer, stylist, spoken word poet/artist, hiplesque dancer, Co-[CREATIV], health and wellness coach, college student and work a full time job. (Yes, I am a SERIOUSLY busy person!) Currently, I am doing slightly less modeling as I have cut back on TFP and am focusing on my work behind the scenes as a stylist, designer and partner for a local rebrand soon to hit your computer screens. Currently, I am focusing on my roles as partner, designer, stylist and lead photographer for F.A.I.T. A mentor and very talented friend of mine Sheila Ann M (Also known as MissyLectro) has launched F.A.I.T. as the official "re-brand" of her Costume Label "Dolls R'nt Dead”. F.A.I.T. will be focusing on wardrobe for the masses while still holding onto media production wear for the performing artists. As many of my friends here know, I was previously the character of Mary Massacre with Deadly Delia’s Dozen. Unfortunately, due to some issues which are not at my disposal to discuss, the Deadly Delias is now a project owned by a sole member of the board who is no longer a part of this project. Instead, we have launched a re-vamped project under new leadership, with new models and a new story line! As soon as this information is available for release, I will update here. For now, I will be working quietly behind the scenes on this. So, stay tuned!

TFP/TFCD:
I am open to TFP currently, but it will be on a selective basis. I of course recognize that I am not the most seasoned photographer in the industry and would like to increase my trade work to add to both our portfolios. However, as I said it will be selective, based on who, where, what, when… Please do not take offense if we are unable to make it happen right now. I do not expect paid work 100% of the time and appreciate collaboration in exchange for creative ideas, but I also must continue to progress :-) So, please message me if interested in TFP.
