Lately (December 2014), I've been entranced with drawing nudes with graphite. Check out my drawing portfolio if you are interested in having a hand drawn picture. I can draw from an existing photo or from a shoot.

I strive to tell a story or complicated emotion. I strive to tell pages by the slight lift of an eyebrow or puckering of the corner of the mouth. I strive to reveal by hiding: in shadow, merging different photos, and texturing. I tend to like the extremes of focus, light and zoom.

I am currently only interested in personal projects at the moment. I typically incorporate mixed media in the presentation of images for fine art consumption. You'll notice that I don't have a standard style; I never like to do the same shot twice.

I started back when we all did positive slides and the highest end digital camera had a whopping whole megabyte. Once I discovered my beloved photoshop, I never went back to my enlarger. I used to be an optical engineer, so get me talking about colorspace and candelas and I'll go for about 2 hours if you're not careful.
