Lisa Pothecary began her career studying Fashion Design at Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries in Wales. Ahead of Graduating in July 2013, Lisa Pothecary had the opportunity to work with Suzie Turner, a British couturier based in London. This experience gave her the confidence and knowledge to fulfil her life-long dream to begin her own label within the fashion industry. As a designer, Pothecary believes that quality workmanship with meticulous attention to each and every detail, is the upmost importance. Her designs are strong, stylish and stunning. Her technical knowledge of a garment’s proper fit and design, combined with her instinctive creative gift, effectively produce astonishing garments perfect for red carpet events.
Lisa Pothecary’s first Spring/Summer collection called ‘Elegnal’ is to be launched in London in 2014. The collection is courageous and includes many statement looks among her black gold and navy colour pallet. Pothecary sets out to achieve classic beauty with a seductive and vibrant attitude, her tight fitting trouser suits, floor length shirts and sparkling mirror dresses create a playful yet sophisticated appeal. Lace also plays an important role within this collection, strategically placed, Pothecary has used lace to emphasise the female figure and guide the eyes around the natural curves of the body.
