About Me

I am a professional commercial photographer and videographer. When it comes to creating images, I do a little bit of it all.

I began shooting video at my parent's studio, Premier Studios in the early 1990s.  Premier was the oldest and largest recording studio in the Midwest. If you know much of St. Louis history, then you'll know that Premier is where "Wild Kingdom" TV Show was filmed. It was the studio of the St. Louis Cardinals and Anheuser Busch. That is where I got my first taste of working behind the scenes. I designed my first print advertisement for that studio at the age of 15.  My father asked me if I could put an ad together and if it was good, he'd show it to the board and maybe they'd use it.  I decided to take a chance and put something together.  Once finished, I showed it to my father who was impressed. He took it to the board of directors, who loved it and it was printed in all the local publications. I realized then that I had an artistic gift.  Soon afterwards I started helping out at Premier.  I began shooting modeling photography in 2000 and have since had the privilege to work with many very talented models, actors, stylists, producers, comedians,  and crew members in the entertainment field.

My family sold Premier Studios, and I began my own production company in 2000 called Spys In The Nite Productions, Inc. For nearly a decade, I was the Vice President of Operations.  I produced 14 TV Series and shot more photoshoots and commercials than I'll bother to list.

I then was offered a job as the Director over the Modeling Department for Studio 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Studio 1 was the largest Photography studio in the state of Utah and boasted over 10,000 square feet of studio space. I relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah in July 2011 to take over the National Modeling Searches and the Directorship of the Modeling Department.

The following year I opened Borba Studios, and changed the name of the Studio two years later to Hendrixson Studios.  I currently shoot photography and video for Hendrixson Studios. I schedule by appointment only.

I am available for Videography and Photography bookings.

My Policies are thus:

If I schedule you for a photo shoot, be early. If you are a "No Show". I will not book you again. I will refuse to book you for paying jobs when they come my way. If you are represented by an agent and I booked you through your agency. I will report you to your agent for a "no show."

I only pay models for photoshoots that are commercial work.

I do not pay models for test shoots. I will ask if you want to do a test shoot for a client. If you decide to do one you will be required to pay a studio deposit. Once you attend your photoshoot and proofing appointment your deposit will be refunded. However, your deposit will not be refunded if you do not complete their photoshoot and proofing appointment. It will be kept to pay for the studio rental because the model did not show up for the appointed time.

If I have a commercial client who books a photoshoot and you are the model booked for the shoot and it is not a test shoot.  You will be paid. You will always be given credit for your work when it is applicable. Please, do not expect all the advertisements to have a tag on it that state that you were the model/talent unless you specifically request this in your contract before the shoot is done. Some of my clients do not want a model's name on their advertisements. Please respect their wishes. They are the one paying for your time and mine. Sometimes the size of the advertisement printing does not allow for your name to be printed in the ad. You will be e-mailed a digital copy of the advertisement featuring you.  If you are represented by an agency, then the digital copy will be e-mailed to your agent.  If you want a hard copy of the publication in which the ad is in, you will have to pick it up from the publication or the newsstand. I do not supply hard copies of the publications.

If you are scheduled for a test shoot and you do not show up for the test shoot, or you reschedule more than once. I will NEVER book you again. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Any other questions about my policies, please message me through this modelmayhem.
