Aesthetician, Michelle Meyer has always been an artist at heart. Her love of painting, expression of one's self, and the ability to pay attention to detail, led her into a career of aesthetics. A professional since 2004, Michelle has been trained by many of the finest cosmetic lines which led her to the oppurtunity to go to Italy on behalf of a Vinotherapie skincare company. There she discovered her potential and business name Tawfik (taw-feek). In 2006, Michelle and a photographer opened a studio in Oklahoma City. As the beginning to her commercial work, together they worked on a range of modeling shoots, weddings and advertisements.
Tawfik soon grew with the addition of Paula Dorf Cosmetics and Epicuren Skincare lines. Michelle knows in order to have good artistry, a clean canvas is always necessary. Her skin therapies are just as detailed as the make-up. With a variety of skin treatments, make-up applications, lash expertise and brow specialties, Michelle continues to expand her knowledge as she moves into the medical side of aesthetics. She loves to help people feel calm and treated with relaxing spa services. Provide a cure to hormonal and problem prone skin and be a catalyst to express the undeniable beauty in every individual.
Currently, Michelle resides in Denver, Colorado where she works in a studio as a freelance make-up artist. She has renewed the appearance and name of Tawfik to Moxie Make Up to resemble new beginnings in her life with relocating to a new city and expanding education.
