About Me

I have been in entertainment for most of my working life. I was The singer/front person in 2 all female bands throughout the 80's and actively took a role in the creative aspects such as image styling, hair & make up. I am from a family who had a well known photographic business in the Midlands and instinctively knew how to make up for studio conditions. Later I became 'leading lady' for a period of 4 yrs in A West End theatre review show where I gained a wealth of experience in stage/theatrical make up, costume & Wardrobe. Recently I have been working with Model Melissa Frayne doing creative photo shoots, fashion shows and pageants. I am just getting a portfolio together of my make up and you can see more on my facebook link https://www.facebook.com/SallyJayneMUA

Indigo Lady represented Great Britain in Nashville at the Tennessee State Grounds for The Country Music Association's 'International Show' in 1986. Contracts abroad included Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel . The Ambassador Hotel, Dubai, The Doha Club, Quatar. we did an extensive tour of Norway, Army Base tours of Holland,Germany, U.K and Cyprus.
In the 80's we changed the name of the band to THE GIRL CAN'T HELP IT, also the line up & musical direction youtube http://youtu.be/u8rynScs-tk. We even did a support for Black sabbath on their 'Headless Cross' tour '89.
I then worked for 4 years as Leading lady in a West End review show (The cockney, 161, Tottenham court road and The Talk of London, Drury Lane) which was featured on Jill Dando's travel programme BBC1 and Jim Davidson's Generation Game. I was very happy to be credited for vocals on Sam brown's BOX album youtube http://youtu.be/jgIvNqujJ3Q and I had my own album 'Party Party' Sally Looker released in '91 (which is currently still being sold on Amazon). My daughter, Layla, recently won Jnr Dream street 2013 (I styled her and did hair and make up) www.facebook.com/JuniorDreamStreetBeautyUnitedKingdom2013Layla?ref=hl
