Professionally I'm teaching physics. Besides that I spend my time with my family, travelling and making pictures.

I started making pictures at the age of 12 but after buying my first reflexcamera when I was 16, I really got interested in photography. I even developed my own pictures in a small darkroom at home.

Most of the time I made nature pics but when my children where born I made a lot of family pictures too (of course).

A lot of my nature pictures got and still get published in magazines or on websites. In the late nineties and early years 2000 several hundreds of my nature pictures were published in about 6 books for which for 4 of them I did final editorial work too.

Buying my first digital camera in 2002 and my first digital reflex (a Canon 300D) in 2003 and being able to use photoshop gave a boost at my urge for photography.

When I started in 2011 with a photography course I got more interested too in model photography. Therefor now I spend most of my free time making nature pictures and photos of people/models.

means it's a win - win situation.
