I took up photography a while back as a way to balance out the demands of a graduate degree program I was in at the time. What I found out in all those years is that I much prefer photographing people (portraits and figure studies) than anything else. Thus, I am hoping to make contact with models of various experience levels, improve my craft, and collaboratively make some art in the process.

Currently, my preference is working with mature male models who might be willing to pose for portraits and/or figure studies (clothed or nude is ok). While I tend to shoot low key studio images, I would also like to explore some other possibilities including outdoor portraits, workplace images (e.g., office, farm, garage, etc.), and close-up high key emotional portraits where the face is filling the complete frame. I will add that while the trim, muscular physique is great, I enjoy working with models who are closer to the "everyman" in terms of height, weight, etc.

I travel some and can always throw equipment in the car if we are not near in proximity. I do not currently charge a fee and am happy to provide a copy of the best shots from each session.
